Vocabulary
Product names
When Amplitude is part of the product name, use the full name (e.g., “Amplitude Analytics”) on the first reference and the product name (“Analytics”) on subsequent references.
Follow this convention for Amplitude Analytics, Amplitude Experiment, and Amplitude CDP.
Link to the product page on the first reference.
Product capitalization
In general, capitalize parent products or categories and lowercase the features or solutions underneath.
Example: “Amplitude Experiment” (parent) vs. “holdout group” (feature)
Exception: Capitalize features if they have a unique name or are trademarked.
Example: “Amplitude AI” (parent) vs. “Ask Amplitude” (feature)
Chart names
When referring to a full chart or feature name in Amplitude, lowercase the name and specify if it is a “chart.” Examples:
“The event segmentation chart enables you to accomplish deeper segmentation of your events.”
“Use Amplitude’s funnel analysis chart to pinpoint where users fall off.”
“You can now choose to set permissions on a team space.”
When referring to these concepts in general, lowercase the terms. Examples:
“Doing funnel analysis helps you pinpoint where users fall off.”
“Try segmenting your users based on the referring domain.”
“You can run cohort analysis with Amplitude Analytics.”

Plan names
Use “Amplitude Plus plan" on the first reference and “Plus” or “Plus plan” on subsequent references.
Follow this convention for Starter, Growth, Enterprise, and other plans.
Exception: In some design applications of the visual type treatment, it might look better to use title case (“Plus Plan”) when referring to plans.
